Topaz Cichlid? (CA)

Anyone have one of these guys? (Picture )

Was wondering how aggressive they were, and what kinda behavior to expect. Would they work for a community tank?

from what I'm reading in Dr alelrod's mini-atlas of Freshwater Aquarium Fishes they are about 12cm or 3-4in, ph 7.0, needs atleast a 30gal tank, and are fairly peaceful. They seem to be a beautiful fish from all the pics Ive seen
