this type of swordtail colour rare

because i got 2 of them and i mistaked them for platys the only reason i knew they were a swordtail. google for one and the have a wavey type of tail
 
They popped up in my area like 4 monthes ago at one store and now they all have them.When you got it what did they call it or have it named?
 
no just asstd swordtails and platys where it was in
 
My red wag female sword and my black male sword mated and the fry look like that. Nearly the same color as the black male, but not totally black and less "shiny", having a flesh color or pale white area on the "chin" part of the head. Some of them have orange-red dorsal fins, the rest are clear. Black swords have health problems if they have black fins, according to articles I've read online.
 
I agree with MickRC i had two completely black sword tails and they had this odd problem with having growths .They would burst and come back worse till they died.
 
ill have to show u a pic of my two girls they have clear fins and black with greeny blue looking shine on them with a little pinky top where the lips are and then the belly and the underneath is white :)
