Is the reason a majority of male cichlids form the nunchal hump on their head really do to being dominant and displaying "power"??? I've always been under that assumption and it just came to mind so I just want to clear this up. I always see a group of male's in a tank and one has a huge hump as compared to the rest and he is the dominant male every time I see this.
