I recently got a 125g tank that I'm repairing (yay)

I want to make the tank clown loach specific but at the moment I only have the 6 loaches that are between 2-4 inches each

so the tank will look pretty bare imo

I was wondering what types of tank mates would be ok to keep with loaches?

I really like fronts...their colour is beautiful

are fronts aggressive? any other recommendations?

or just keep it clown loach specific? (love my loaches)

thanks in advance,
Taylor

A school of Congo Tetras, and/or Panda Barbs.!!!

Frontosa's way of eating is to sneak up on sleeping fish in the dead of night. True, they grow slow but I still wouldn't want them with my Loaches. Maybe get several species of Loache schools? That's what I'd do. Also Tiger Barbs and Loaches look awesome together and work real well.

I wouldn't put any cichlids with them, maybe a shoal or two of barbs.
There are several cichlids that work just fine. Severums, angelfish, uarus, etc will simply work just fine.

thank you all for your input

I like the different loach school idea...but the only thing I've seen in Toronto is a clown loach...

maybe I will just do like 20 clown loaches...i dunno

nothing really seems as appealing as the clowns...their personality is too funny

are all loaches in general goofy like clown loaches?
