I saw in one post that snails eat all types of foods,..... so i have a couple of questions

1) how do you blanch veggies.?

2) if you feed them egg shells, do you boil them 1st then remove the membrane .. or how does that work?

I don't know about the eggshells, but for veggies, you just dip them in boiling water (about 30-60 seconds I think). Then you just use a vegetable clip or weigh them down with a rock in the tank.

Personally, I microwave them in water until they sink - most people don't recommend it because it deteriorates faster that way, but my fish and snails go through it fast enough that it's not a problem.

I use frozen veggies, i just defrost and pop them in the tank. For fresh, boiling them for a minute works fine. I use a plastic chip clip or a stainless washer attached to a string to sink them.

For the eggshells, just wash the membrane out and you can add them to the tank.
