How long does it take for snail eggs to hatch. i have started to notice some yellowish colored slim on the side of my tank. Over the last week, I have noticed that there were white dots inside and growing. Today I looked at them and it looks like there is a tiny snail in them there the shape in them.

I have added 3 snails with the fish, should I removed the new snails, or should I let them stay?

The new snails won't hurt anything but if you don't want them around the remove them. If your tank starts to become highly over populated with snaisl that is a sign that your tank is out of balance and has too much food in it. That could lead to algae problems etc... so make sure to vacuum that gravel regularly.

It has been awhile since I watched for snails eggs but it doesn't take much more than a week I don't think for them to hatch (that is for Ram's Horn snails anyway).

Pond snails and ramshorns seem like about a week, of the two ramshorns take longer IME, but I can't honestly say that I've logged either one for average time or any kind of true data.
The baby snails will most likely dissapear and then re-emerge in a week or two after they have gained some size. Most fish will eat the babies if they find them.
