Size of Kissing Gouramis?!

Wow! I have just researched a little about the kissing gouramis to see if I would be able to add a pair to my tank. They get huge! I have never seen any over 3" long and apparently they get to 9-10". Incredible. Has anyone seen kissing gouramis this big?

They can definately get bigger than 3" for sure. I've seen a pair at 6" quite a while ago. And, if I'm not mistaken, they're fairly aggressive and not to be put in a community tank full of small fish.

The kissing thing they do is actually aggressive posturing for male gouramis. And yes, they have the ability to reach sizes up to 12". Definatley meant for larger aquariums.

I have 3 in a 110 Gal tank, they leave everyone alone....except when they are indeed kissing
