Hey everyone out there. :idea2:
I was wondering if anyone knew how to tell the difference between a male pink convict and a female? I am starting a big feeder tank and I already have a mated pair of wild convicts in a 20gal. If anyone has pictures of pink males and females as examples, please post them. :D thanx everyone.
P.S. I am going to move all the convicts into a 3 foot long 40 gal.

Females will have a red abdomen with the pink cons. Just do a google search.

I'd like to see your wild convicts(where di you find them at?).... If they don't show the pink/red on the belly you can also tell be the male being larger and having longer fins.

Here's some quick pix of my cons

The first one is of the mom behind the dad.
I tried to get a good pic of the dad but haven't got one yet.
The second is of the Mom, she is obviously is the mom; notice the speck of pink on her top fin. :D

To my understanding a wild and black convict is the same thing, if anything is different it is the fact that blacks are farm raised and wilds are wild caught. If anyone knows the exact difference please tell me.
:OT: i see dead people
