im taking my 29 and my two 10's apart to start getting ready for my 125. i was wondering if i can save my florite and if so for how long? is this the same for eco complete?
if i can save it whats the best way? large ziplocks?

You can keep it for as long as you want, give it a rinse before you store it (damp is fine but you can dry it if you want) and a rinse before you use it again, I just use a large bucket or rubbermaid plastic container.

won't damp gravel grow mold?

Only if it's full of detritus, which it won't be if you rinse it before storage, remember commercial gravel is often packed damp (and dirty enough to require thorough cleaning) as well.

In practice I've never had any issues with long term storage of gravels, even if initially stored damp.

I agree, i store mine all time, i rinse it, them pile it in a bag, When I need it again, I rinse it and dump it in.
