Does anyone have experience successfully keeping shrimp with a SA bumblebee cat? I was thinking of putting some algae eating shrimp in my 40B which is a community tank but I'm a little worried the cat will eat them. I really wanted cherry shrimp but since they are so much smaller I figured they wouldn't stand a chance. Thanks for your help!

I have a SA Bumblebee but never attempted to keep shrimp in the same tank. Mine eats baby fish so I don't think shrimp would be a good idea.

I have three of the SA Bumblebee catfish..I had ghost shrimp and bamboo shrimp in with them. If it fits in their mouth they will eat it. I have Japanese Algae eating shrimp and those are big about 2" and the catfish max out at 3" and their mouth is a big small to eat a 2" shrimp.
SAB's eat anything that will fit in their mouths and move slow enough, particularly at night, to be eaten.
