I changed most of the gravel out for sand a couple days ago, and moved around the driftwood and plants. I also tossed in the fake stump until I can find another piece of real wood that I like better. It still looks a little messy after putting the sand in and there is some gunk that needs siphoned out but I didn't want to mess with it anymore for a while.
Please excuse my awful backround, it is falling off and about to be replaced with black!!! :)

Inhabitants (mostly hiding)
3 dwarf platies, and 2 fry
4 green corydoras
1 corydora schwartzi
1 brig snail
1 spotted raphael catfish
1 bulldog pleco
3 tiny peacock gudgeons: I had been looking for these for a long time and finally found some this week at my LFS. They are active and out and about after only being in the tank for a few hours.
Java fern
Anubias
Moss

I am trying to decide on a species for the top level, the tank looks almost totally empty most of the time.

I plan on upping the Cory school to 10 but that still leaves me lots of room for a small species school on the top or maybe something like a Pearl Gourami

Nice tank!

I like the driftwood and fake stump, nice job.

Any suggestions for top level fish for this tank...preferably no neons, cardinals or harlequins

I am going to add some more tall plants so I want a school of small fish that will stay together and look pretty against the green.

Need to hide equipment , other than that I like the tank .

I was thinking of turing the driftwood on the right going the other direction, and am looking for some tall plants to hide the filter on the left.

I also need to put on a backround, I pulled the old one off, but Im not sure how to do it without moving the whole tank.

Big Changes!

I have made some big changes and I think I am finally happy with my tank.
All I have left to do is upgrade the lighting and maybe add 3 more rummynose and 3 more cories

The Before Pics are here:

Current stock is
10 Rummynose tetras, (which are amazing)
3 dwarf platies, and 2 fry
8 green corydoras
1 corydora schwartzi
1 brig snail
1 spotted raphael catfish (removed)
1 bulldog pleco
3 tiny peacock gudgeons: I had been looking for these for a long time and finally found some this week at my LFS. They are active and out and about after only being in the tank for a few hours.
Java fern
Anubias
Moss

Added Today:
1 Gold gourami he is doing great, being nice to everyone and trying to eat everything he can find.
4 black phantom tetras
4 stems of Hygrophilia Difformis

I also added a black backround, moved the plants and driftwood around some and added a coconut cave for the gudgeons or whoever else ends up using it.
