I have moved my African Odoe Pike (Hepsetus Odoe) to a new tank(65g) because my Peacock Bass (Cichlia Monoculus) was badly attacking him. Now that he is in his new home, what would be some suitable tankmates? Please do not include any large aggressive cichlids as I have plenty. Looking for something cool and new.

Any ideas?

considering the size these guys get, i'd suggest no tankmates and a huge upgrade to the 65 gallon as soon as possible.

He was originally in a 135g which was more than enuff for his size(roughly 6.5"), but his tankmates almost killed him(peacock bass 14") so he went to the 30g hospital tank for treatment and now in the 65g. He isn't a large specimen, so he will do ok in the 65g for awhile.

I will always provide a large enuff home for all of my fish as their size requires, but as long as they are small enuff, no point in having a ton of 300g tanks laying around the house lol.

Well I have a Syno Ctenopoma and Ornate Bichir in with mine atm but plecos and tetras that are at least half his size are good tankmates
