OK, I'm thinking about adding a refugium to my tank, but the big question is how? I'm considering two scenarios, one is to buy an intank model like the one listed here (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produ...ia_Gen_Page-_-Filters&subref=AA&N=2004+113080)
The other is to use my 6 gallon Eclipse aquarium that I use for isolating fish as an external Refugium.
In either scenario, how do I start it up? I don't understand what I need to do. Do I just add LS and a lil LR plus some algae like Shaving Brush or Turtle Grass or Mangrove and let it go with some additional lighting? What do I need to get to get this working. Any help would be appreciated.
Secondly, if I choose the external model, how do I get water to and from the main tank? Does anyone have any recommendations for this?
Has anyone setup one?
