Its a little worm about less then an inch and ive seen one in my pond before but didnt know what it was. Please let me know

Is it swimming around or in the substrate? It is probably a bloodworm (chirinomid midge larva), but there are other possibilities. Can you post a picture?

Yeah, chironomids and other worms are frequent hitchhikers on aquarium plants that have been grown outdoors. Most likely it is harmless. There are some reddish leaches that could be a problem, but if it is a bloodworm, detritus worm, lumbriculid, etc. it will cause no harm, and may actually help clean up the tank a little (if it lasts long before being eaten).

Yeah i took a plant out of my pond an put it in the tank. i saw one in that pond.
