Hi,
I just bought 3 pearlscales (3 days ago) and I just noticed that 2 of 'em have the salt grain on their fins (not yesterday) and one of those 2 have her gills (inside) like red or dark pink color. I know I have to treat the Ick but is this red color inside the gills another illness? Please help?:help:

I may be ammonia poisoning. Treat the entire tank with Prime if you have any.

can you give us more information?

what size tank?
what kinds of fish and how many?
do you have a filter and heater? what is the temp?
do you test the water for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and pH?
do you do water changes on the tank? how much and how often?
have you added any chemicals to the tank? what and how much?
did you cycle the tank at all before adding 3 goldfish to it?

I would be thinkin' ich!

what colour is the fish? some goldfish have clear gills, which make them look pinky/red. Though if theres whitespots to, it could well be ich and ammonia poisoning.
