I use the API freshwater test kit and am very happy with it. I am looking to buy a PO4 test kit and wanted to find out which one you guys would recommend?

I know API makes them as well as RedSea and Nutrafin. As always, appreciate your help!

I personally use Aquarium Pharmaceuticals for all of my test kits. Reasonably priced, and they have all the test kits I need for everything. They last quite awhile. They're PO4 one is $5-6 if I remember correctly, and is good for 120 tests. ;)

I've got both the AP and the Red Sea kit. I used to complain about the Red Sea one until I tried the AP. I went back to Red Sea. The AP kit colors do not match the FW card at all and doing a test is just a guess. Dunno about the SW card, because I ditched it since I'm not using this for SW.

The only thing you need to remember about the Red Sea kit is that you need to take the lid off the tube and look down through the solution color to match what's on the card. Doing that, it's pretty good.

I'm going to buy the SeaChem one next, to try it. If it's anything like all the other SeaChem kits I've bought, it will be wonderful :)

As an aside, I'm an AP fan. Just don't like their PO4 test. Hrm, I don't like their Ca test either. Or RedSea's. The best Ca test kit I've found thus far is Hagen's Nutrafin Ca test. It's the only Nutrafin I have.
