Ramshorn Snail Reproduction?

How long does it take for them to breed and start a colony? Also how fast do they grow? I am starting a small tank to grow them in to feed them to my puffer and im wondering how much time it will take for them to get established. It seems to be hard to find little ones that the LFS around here just big ones that he cant eat.

I started a ramshorn colony with just one. Within 1 month there were a couple dozen little babies, after 2 months there were probably a couple dozen or so that were large plus now lots more babies. After probably 3 months I could probably feed my 3 puffers just snails every other day without worry of impacting the colony of snails. Take a look at the pics in that thread.
