Ramshorn snail anatomy question

I was wondering what this "bit" on the ramshorn is. Is it the respiration sac/gill?

I don't know what the extra bit is psyche but wanted to say that your rams horns look incredibly beautiful.

Apple snail is a general name for a lot of different snails. My guess is a canna could take out a ramshorn if it really wanted to.

Blue is correct. Pomacea canaliculata complex which includes the canaliculata and the other being insularum are known to eat smaller snails if they are hungry. I witnessed my baby canas eating baby MTS much to my chagrin since the MTS were intended for my assassin snails.-_-
