on my 75 gallon atm i have a 10 gal sump which has an old style quiet one pump hooked to it from there it flows through a rainbow lifegard commercial m-2 canister which holds 2 filters than back to the tank the quiet one pump has a sponge prefilter on the intake im wanting to use the m2 cartrages for mechanical filtering but doesnt the prefilter eliminate that and also the second cartrage wont be doing much correct i have been trying to search up the proper way to run these but havent had any luck i am plaining on adding a fluidtized bed filter in the future so the canisters wont need to be for bio filtering im just looking for ideas on setting these up my 75 has a built in overflow

i'm sorry, i dont mean to be rude, but i really need some punctuation. i dont quite understand what you're asking...

canister filters usually have a built in pump.. in which case you dont need the "quiet one" pump at all.

sorry about the punctuation. the m-2 canisters are stand alone and need a pump here is a picture that is close to what they are
