At what age/size do rabbit snails start breeding?

I have 1 large female yellow rabbit snail that I got several months ago. She had a baby 2 days later and has continued to have a baby once a month since then. I understand that she must have stored sperm from a previous mating but wouldn't she have stopped having babies by now?

So I'm wondering are one of the older babies not breeding with her?

The first baby was born in March. She's had 1 (that I know of) each month since then. I got an older tank raised baby a few months ago.

Also I think I just found June's baby this morning.

Well, I'm not an expert on this, but from what I have heard, the females can store sperm for several babies. I would imagine she has probably used it all now,or might have 1 or 2 babies left.
At some point she will breed with her young, assuming one is a male. I doubt, however, that any have reached sexual maturity yet. How large is the largest one?
Whatever the case, congratulations! Baby tylos are so cute. :)

I am not sure on the sperm storing issue but you can send me any of your extras! I would love them!!! and pay postage!!!

I picked up some gold-spotted rabbit snails Saturday at the CCA auction. I presume they're all tank-raised because they're fairly small (.75-1.5") and the shells are all intact. Wild-caught snails always have shell damage. I dropped them and 6 wee multi's into the 38 with my L-10a's and red BN fry. There are very few ramshorns left in that tank (aggressive culling,) and the quilted melania have been multiplying fairly well. I'm wondering how big they have to be to start breeding as well, guess time will tell.
What water parameters are you keeping yours in? My gh is quite high, but the pH isn't anywhere near 8.
The multi's aren't hanging out in the gold-mouth turbo shells yet, but I saw one of the rabbit snails inside one earlier.

I have a waiting list locally wanting some of the babies :) I just wish they didn't grow so slow.

The female I have is wild caught but has very little shell damage. I think I got lucky on that one.

My water is liquid rock. High GH with a Ph of 8 out of the tap. I don't mess with it at all and the snails are growing really well. The temperature is a little high this time of year but they seem to be ok.

Ok so here's Mom
