I have an 8' long 125 gallon freshwater planted tank. I currently have 2 strip lights with 2 bulbs in each by Zoo Med called Flora Sun... I am going to be redoing the entire setup soon, by transferring all fish into my empty 55 gallon with the same water. I am going to remove most of the old sand and fill it in with new sand and decor and more plants...Now the question, I was looking at some fish tank pictures and saw this pic. He is running Retrofit 4x65w 50/50 lamps, could I use this setup in my tank to achieve this type of lighting without killing the plants???
