Popeye, with this disease the back of the eye fills with pus and swells to the point where the eye appears to dislodge. Sometimes it does. Dissolved gases in the water and to much heat are to blame for this condition. If the eye appears to be beyond saving, lancing the back of it sometimes can provide a miracle, but on a whole it is a dangerous remedy. Lower the temperature and make a 33% water change at least twice a week ...
