I see people selling pods, some say 500, some 1000, and some say 2000. My question is How do they really know how many are in the bottle? Is it just a guesstiment? I mean really, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,darn they moved now I got to start over. Thanks

I don't know if it's truly a guestimate, but I would think so considering the prices and volume in which they market and sell such products. There use to be someone where I work that spent their days counting and separating Daphnia cultures, so there are people that do actually have these kinds of seemingly strange jobs.

They employee thousands of nine year old children in lesser developed countries to manually count the pods that go in each bottle.

FSN, I was trying to be funny and didn't read your post... man, that would be one horribly tedious job...

Well, we had a small toxicology lab running for awhile, and someone had to count and separate juvenilles from adults. I wouldn't want that job...
