I have some questions about my plant choices. These are going into two 7.9 gal tanks that will house two varieties of shrimp ea, basically diff colors of same breeds of shrimp. Babaulti and cherries, and blue pearl and babaulti's. Maybe have a small colony of cbs in a 5 gal with Oto's and goldie fry.
But here is the list of plants: (the moss bits will be 2x2" pieces, floating plants, will of course, float)
Salvinia Minima
Duckweed (large and small varieties)
Flame moss
Java moss
Star Moss
Marimo balls (big and small)
Plagiomnium Trichomanes
Fissidens splachnobryoides
Weeping moss
Pearl moss
Aponogeton Undulatus
Java Fern Windelov

Also tanks could possibly be
Fluval EBI Nano Shrimp Habitat, or Do!Aqua 7.9 gal cube garden with amazonia soil and sponge filter setup, with something rigged for lighting... Will be feeding Hikari Shrimp food. If I need anything else or have overlooked something please let me know.

I would appreciate any input towards this project! Criticism is welcome, just don't be too harsh...

I would suggest choosing one type of moss and actually only a couple types of plants. If you have all those different plants it'll look cluttered and not natural. If you chose your favorite moss and maybe 2 different stem plants i think you would have a great looking tank. And maybe some duck weed.

I have only purchased/received:
Java moss
Salvinia Minima
Duckweed (large and small varieties)

Marimo balls (big and small)
Aponogeton Undulatus
Java Fern Windelov

And the marimo's and salvinia are already in other tanks, the marimo's that i have right now came from one ball that i had first gotten for my big goldies to play with. only they were decimating it! si in with my tropics went the big part and the lil sprig went in with my betta and is now a 1x1" ball

Do you already have fissidens splachniobrynes established in a tank? If not, I don't recommend paying money for it... The stuff ebay sellers sell this as, is grown emersed, and without tons of babysitting converting it from emersed to submerged, it'll die.

The rest of the plants sound good!
