Wow, my petsmart seems much better then that, im not saying it is the best place in town(by far its not!) but the people their do tell you things that are true.

Ive seen a few times that someone has tryed to buy oscars and the sales person has refused to sell them because the tank the people wanted to keep it in was way to small.
also i wouldnt want to risk the editing of prices, in the long run its not really worth it, if you get caught and banned, then figure out you need more things their and have to end up spending 2x the cash at the LFS or other chain store, you will more then likely kick your self in the a$$ a few times.

Does anyone know if this policy also works in Canadian stores? All prices on the web site are in USD, so I'm hoping they forget to take any dollar exchange into consideration.

Oh yes, the same thought did pop into my mind for a second....but even if you don't get caught, it wouldn't be worth it. Your integrity is worth more than any savings.

I too just found out about the price match policy. I went down yestraday and picked up a Rena xp3 canister filter that was priced $179.00 USD they gave it to me for $104.00 USD and it came with all the media. I bought a xp-2 last year and for $105.00 USD from my LFS and them had to buy all the filters and media. way to go petsmart.

PetSmart, good. When I have to go there for whatever reason I tend to go to the site first, put in my shopping cart my "wish list" then print it out and go.

Why? Well if you are like me you'll end up buying more stuff than you actually intended. Plus at those prices, hell yeah. Here's another trick! Get the PetSmart PetPerks card. Sometimes you get extra discounts with it.

The most I saved with a printout was about $70+ bucks in a single shot. Python, 10g tank, filter, gravel, lights, stand, heater.
