I finally found Pearl Gouramis! The guy at the LFS said I should get three that way the male won't pick on one female. Ok, so I got one male and two females. Is this ok? Will one female be left out?

Are these for the 55 gal in your sig...?

^ hmmm...if so I wouldn't be putting any gourami i there...the red zebra I take it is pseudotropheus zebra...and the yellow tailed violets; is that Gephyrochromis moorii, some times called yellow tailed violet cichlid ? They're lake malawi cichlids and not good tank mates for gourami...I wouldnt have the shark in there either.

A trio is perfect for pearls, but they do NOT belong with africans nor does the pleco you have listed nor the rainbow shark. Either keep the red zebra and yellow tailed violets or the others.

Calm down guys. I haven't updated my signature since I switched my 55. I have sold my three cichlids. lol I have a red tailed shark which I am keeping a close eye on. He isn't bothering anyone, in fact I hardly see him. After being in a tank with cichlids he tends to keep to himself. I have two huge common plecos (I'm housing one temporarily), the RTS, 10 black phanteom tetras, and three Pearl Gouramis. I plan to get about 10 neons, two German Rams, and some other colorful fish.

One of my Pearls has been just kind of haning out at the top buy herself. That's why I ask if two females are ok.
