I have two oranda goldfish, 4 inch and 5 inch in a 24 gallon tank. ( am going two place in a 55gal when cycled). My largest oranda which I think is a female is nipping at the wen on the smaller fish which looks to be male. It has damaged the wen a bit but now I have a tank divider in place but I have been unable to remove it without the nipping starting right away again. Is this normal behavior and what do I do now?

This should go away once you get your larger tank setup and place the fish in them. Fish just do this when they are in small tanks.

The 55 Gal Fell Through Due To Lack Of Space. Too Many Other Large Aquariums. What About A 29 Gal For These Two Orandas? Will They Outgrow A 29 Gal? And Will This Help With The Wen Picker? If Not I'm Afraid They Will Be Finding New Homes.

A 29g IMHO is too small for 2 orandas. You could possibly keep just one of them in there and find a home for the other....but I wouldn't push putting 2 in there. I think even in that size aquarium, the aggressive oranda is still going to be nippy.
Good Luck :thm:
