new saltwater tank diary

Not much really. I do the following:

Cover it once a week for a dedicated feeding
Add live pyto to the water twice a week
Gave it a good placement in the tank
low to moderate flow

I lowered it slowly over a few weeks to try to find the best place in the tank for it. Turns out it has been the sand bed. I cut a piece of tubing for it to set on instead of the sand, allowing the bottom polyps to extend as well. The tube diameter is slightly smaller than the base of the coral.
My biggist concern is not to slowly starve it over time, as that seems to be the most common cause of thier early recession and death. The green are also said to be one of the more difficult but I'm doing my best to disprove it.
