I was at my local pet store and i saw a blue betta with the tip of its fins a bright neon like pink... is this color morph possible? i asked on of the workers if they dyed it and he said no
there have been tons of new colors coming out but I'm not really active in betta genetics so I wouldn't know. there are likely some betta forums on the internet that would be more up on the betta specifics. Kyle
my betta is a pink color, varying with violet. That's the main reason I got him because I had never seen that color before. Also intereting thing about him is that he isn't aggressive at all. Curious, but not aggressive. He doesn't care about anyone in the tank, colorful tank mates too. He has never 'flared' his fins/gills either since i've had him. He is healthy though. However, he does build a nest once in a while. Reason I say this is because I've heard in various science journals that the red variation colors seem to be more aggressive than any other color..... just a note.
