He is a big boy, about 3in from head to tail, and lately I have noticed the white on him is turning a neon blue? Is this normal, is it something bad? I really like him, hope hes OK. (Gotta admit, he looks pretty cool!) Sorry pics are a little blurry...

I don't know about blue, but I can tell you one of my mollies was silver when I bought him and grew into a beautiful dalmation. It kind of weirded me out too! He had one black spot when I got him and within a couple months he became almost entirely black. It doesn't sound like developing blue spots would be a disease, but I'm curious to see what other posters have to say about this!

I bought some Mollies from a CraigsList ad a few months ago. My favorite is a Dalmation Balloon Belly female. After I got them home I noticed all the bright blue highlights on this female, so pretty! I got to looking at the other Dalmations and they had the same blue highlights. So I'd say yours is normal and healthy :-)

Mine have the same thing...it's just their coloration. :)

According to what I have read about dalmation mollies, they sometimes get a blue hue to them when they are happy. I want one so bad!

Looks like a bit of "throwback" if you will to the wild mollies. I have a molly who is displaying some irridescent green coloring similar to your molly's blue. They are healthy and happy. Enjoy!

Like a natural mood ring effect!? That is cool! I may have to get one of these too.
LOL. not quite. They have to be happy for awhile and properly taken care of. Kind of like how a betta builds a bubble nest when its happy and healthy, dalmation molly's get a little blue (ironic huh? lol).
