My boyfriend gave me my xmas present early!

Maybe he got the pipe threader for himself? Wish my wife wanted miter saws, routers,etc....

LOL. He does all the cooking and I do all the outside stuff so it all works out.

My other obsession;

If you wanna buy great power tools, and you don't care about gettin' the mortgage paid, these are the finest I have ever used. Driver/drill, Mitre saw, dust evac systems, trimmers, sanders, saws and routers. I have sold my soul to acquire these and they are a true joy to work with. Well engineered, ergonomically fit and easy to control. These are the only thing that you'll buy after you have a chance to use one.

The Festool UK site is actually better 'cuz they show the entire line before it passes UL testing and gets released for sale here. Using their portable hand held power tools you can produce results comparable to any production shop, albeit a might slower.

The safety issues mentioned are no joke! I can't actually use any of my tools for quite a while...maybe never, 'cuz I built trade show exhibits and cabinetry in a shop where we had no respiratory protection.

Doesn't seem like much but once you get cadmium & lead dust (cutting plastics), formaldehyde poisoning (plywood & MDF / particle board), solvent poisoning (paint & adhesive fumes) and a chest full of wood fibers, it's too late to go back and put on the respirator or turn on the fan.
