My AZ Gardens experience.

I am not sure if this is the proper place, but I wanted to share my experience.

I received my order from them yesterday.

Honestly, I feel TOTALLY ripped off.

I really really wanted 10 Dainty Cories. I couldn't find them anywhere so decided to order from AZ Gardens. Since I would already be paying shipping, I bought some pants, 7 shrimp, and 3 of Otos as well.

My order came. The Cories were NOT there. The bag that was labeled as 3 Otos contained ONE Oto, and 2 other random fish which look nothing like Otos. (one of which was dead)

My 2 cherry shrimp were there.

My 4 Green Deora shrimp were actually one green shrimp, one brown shrimp, and 3 dead (non green) shrimp.

The Oto was dead in less than 12 hours, as were 2 of the shrimp.

So, my SEVENTY DOLLARS in Priority Overnight shipping has left me with one fish that I didn't even order, and 2 shrimp.

Yeah, they'll credit me for the DOAs, but if I ever want them, or the Cories they DIDN'T EVEN SEND, then I'll have to fork over another SEVENTY bucks for shipping. (Which by the way, they will not give you the amount of I advance)

Despite calling around 20 times, I was unable to reach anyone on the phone.

I am normally NOT the complaining type, but just wanted to share so others might possibly be saved the headache and outrageous shipping charge.
 
That sounds awful. My only suggestion is to keep calling until you get in contact with a real person. Don't order anything until you do.

Thank you for sharing the info, I was actually thinking of ordering black diamond cory's from them, now I'm not so sure.
 
Ah crap, more horrible news from Azgardens, and WHEN exactly did I even remotely believe I had heard a good report from it?! God, if they don't give me the refund I've asked from them multiple times... GRRRR...

Btw, I think I read somewhere they don't take calls on weekends...

How very disappointing, don't allow them to do this to you. Contact them and straighten it out until you are satisfied with the end result, if they fail to do this then contact your credit card company. You can file a charge back if needed.
 
This is one of the worse experiences I have heard....

If they are not willing to make things right with you I would be giving the Better Business Bureau a call too
 
Seems like a typical AZ Gardens experience to me. Do your research next time.
