Muraena pardalis-Japanese Dragon Eel

Anyone have one?
I'm strictly a FW guy (so far), but its fish like these that suck me in deeper.
A little on the expensive side though >$1000

check out the Hawaiian dragon eel--even prettier, IMO. Of course, you wouldn't need a huge setup for one--they stay about 12 inches. Someone posted not too long ago about getting a pair.

AW2EOD has a Hawaiian. You might want to look for more info on www.grimreefers.com - they have an entire forum for sw eels (and AW2 is a mod)

Hawaiians are cheaper, and look the same, if not better

OG, i've heard that they get up to 3 feet, and from AW2EOD's pix, they look about that size

oh man, i don't have the time, money or experience in SW to delve into such a nice fish, maybe in the future.

A predator tank would be sweet. They tend to cost a lot more though.
