I've been trying to feed my otos cucumber for awhile now. The otos don't seem interested (they have nice fat bellies though, so I'm not terribly concerned) however my MTS seem to think a slice of cucumber means orgy. I'm fine with this, but I don't know what I'm looking for.

What do MTS eggs look like? I'm pretty sure what I'm seeing is just snail poop, but that's a -lot- of poop from a small snail.

What do young MTS look like? I can't tell if I have some brown ramshorns (or some other type of snail, apple?) in my tank, or if they're baby MTS. There seems to be a bit of light and dark brown striation to the shell, and the shell is still somewhat see-through, so I wouldn't be shocked if they're baby MTS.

MTS are actually livebearing snails, so you won't see any eggs - just tiny versions of the adults.

Twill is right, the young look like tiny versions of the adults. Their shells aren't transparent either.

You also need only one to breed - they are like tribbles. They CAN get out of control quickly if you overfeed.

When mine showed up, I started seeing @ 1/8 inch spots on the glass; there was an oval, cream colored center with a small clear oval around it. They would start to move very slowly, and then I would see tiny baby trumpets. Just my observations. Different from Ramshorns or Mystery snails.
