Moss Walls and Riccia

I wanted to make a moss wall for my shrimp tank and I was wondering what kind of moss you guys think looks best.
I don't really want to use java moss... too common and in my head, I don't think it'll look that great. However, I don't have too much experience in other mosses outside of java and christmas (or maybe what I have is taiwan...). So I'll probably order other types online, if I think it looks nice.
Any suggestions to what kind of moss I should use?

Also, I see that Riccia can be used as a carpet plant through the use of a mesh canvas. That's the same thing as a moss wall, isn't it? So I thought, has anyone ever used Riccia as a wall plant? Is it even possible?

i wouldn't try riccia as a wall but on the floor it would look great.As for the moss wall i would use christmas moss as it will grow really lush and very nice.

not sure riccia will do for a moss wall, see with moss its low light, you can block it with some plants and it will be fine, with riccia it needs to be in the open medium/high light or else it will start turning brown and then you have a floating riccia wall..

xmas moss is good, weeping moss, taiwan moss.

I had weeping moss in mind too for the wall and have flame on the driftwood. I just don't know if I should use 2 mosses or not. It might not match....

Although, one grows downwards the other upwards... hmm :T

i would say stick with one.. will look better. Wouldnt use flame moss for a wall since it tends to reach up, while other mosses flop over creating a nice effect of an actual wall
