I am looking for a black pacu and a paroon shark that are over 5'' in Mass. If you have any of these let me know via PM!

I know but I just want some.

so. . . what? do you have a plan for when they get big? paroon sharks hit what, 6 feet? is it fair to the fish to keep it in improper conditions just because 'you want it'? being a fishkeeper, even a Big Fish Keeper, means putting the needs of the fish, at least to some extent, in front of your own.

YES of course I have plans to upgrade them. I will start with a 300 and go from there.

i have had a 450 gallon and a 600 gallon tank. do you know how much work it requires? just doing a 25% water change on my 450 took 6 hours. when you have large fish you do the water changes at least once a week. costs a lot for filter media and food. there is a lot of maintenance compared to a 125. to be on the safe side i suggest you stick with fish that dont get as big just incase you decide not to upgrade past 300 gallons. the pacu you have now is more than adequate enough to bust a 300 gallon tank. i found it best that once i had the 450 gallon set up, i then bought a silver arowana. i never bought the fish first and raised it in a smaller tank just in case my plans would fall apart. my 450 busted and i had to give away all my prized fish in a matter of days so even while it is set up it can still fall apart. just some friendly advice. your enthusiasm is refreshing but i would first get a larger tank set up before buying monsters that belong in aquariums.
