hi, can anyone tell me if i can mix arogonite live sand with normal premium reef sand as the live sand is so expensive, would it have less affect on my tank if i did this, thanx

yes you can, there are no issues at all with doing that. Personally, i would not buy the pre-bagged live sand and just use aragonite sugar grade reef sand.

the "live" sand doesnt have as much as it says is in there but can still add beneficial bacteria that u want...not wort the cost though.

ESACTLY! one of the first things i learned when setting up my Tank.
Your only paying for the bacteria in the sand you know? If you want that added benefit any way. Think about it, is it possible for somthing to live like a crab or ect in a Air sealed bag sitting on a shelf for 3 months?!? I thought so as well ahah, go what these guy say they never let me down!
