I was wondering if I would be able to put my Marimo Ball into a 5G Aquarium that has two 7W Compact Fluorescent (Spiral; Incandescent) with a Colour Temperature of 3000K. Would I need to use a bulb with a colour temperature of 6500K or would it be fine in a lighting that has a colour temperature of 3000K? It would be hard to put two 15W 6500K CFL Spiral Bulbs since the max is only 25W...

From what I've heard the marimo balls will live in a glass jar with only ambient lighting from the room. Haven't tried that myself.

You can certainly try them in your set-up, but if you notice the ball going yellow at all, you may want to consider changing the lighting.
