Lighting a 65G

Okay i need to know if MH are better at lighting than PC lights.I was either going to use four 55W or 2X55W PC.The tank dimensions are 48L,18W,16H.

Can go T-5 better than PC
got a fixture for you 2x54 for $125 + shipping
or 4x55 for $150 + shipping

Hmm but halide give the shimmer too.Would the spillage be high though with 2MH

mh will be 2 much for the tank i think. And the cost of one.. ehh idk lol your choice.
But it would be
MH>t-5>PC

If you want a shimmer effect, use LEDs, MHs don't do well with plants.

nope.. MH are great for plants. Amano uses them for all his setups.

what size? all depends on how high you raise it. If anything you can have lower light plants on the sides

have in mind which MH lamp you want? for a tank thats 48" 2 would be good or atleast one light stip with 2 bulbs. But will be worth some $
