LED lighting for plants?

Very interesting find... I have had a back-burner project that has yet to get off the ground related to this. There are submersible LED lamp systems that I have been wanting to try and place under and behind driftwood to light some dim corners of a large tank, to add some depth and focal points.

Has anyone tried anything with these Plant LED lights? Or submersible lights for plants?

OK, something tell me that LEDplantgrower is not seeking advice. Based on the screen name... hmmmm. Advertisement?

Only thing I use LED for is moonlight.

Raithan - the LFS had a submersible LED that was supposed to generate bubbles for some kind of effect. You certainly could submerge some LEDs, problem is all the cords...
