WHITBY, ONTARIO CANADA!
I just picked up some lava rock today for the rock work in my new mbuna cichlid setup

I wanted to keep the wood in the tank as i like the way it looks, so i tired my best to make it blend with the lava rock. (p.s. my pH is holding at 8.2)

Hope you enjoy the pics (will post more of the fish later)

that looks great but doesn't all that rock really put pressure on the glass
I can agree with you on that. There does seem to be much pressure on the glass. Nice rockwork.

Nice rockwork. :)

Rock looks porous and not solid enough to cause some weight issues? I don't know maybe I'm just assuming things. Because what's termed as "lava rocks" in my area are actually light and porous. Don't know if we have the same though.

Anyway it looks great :) How bout some black background? hehe
