laryngitis Home remedies?

I have laryngitis for the first time EVER in my life. I work from home, mostly phone work so I need my voice. I havent been able to work all weekend which means Im in trouble here. I need some quick cures. Last night I was able to whisper. I can't even do that now. Ive tried salt water, lots of tea, halls, tyneol PM. I wish I had some cough syrup! Anyone have any home remedies?

I don't think there are really any quick cures, but I sympathize. Lots of tea with honey and lemon (honey is key), and if you don't have a cool mist vaporizer or humidifier, get one. It makes a big difference.

This has just not been a great week for you has it? So sorry about it all. I wish I had a remedy, but rest and not speaking are the main ways to beat it. Also, Vitamin C and other antioxidant vitamins, they will help the healing.

try a cup of hot water with 1 tablespoon of apple vinegar. Let it cool slightly until you are able to take a sip and gargle your throat. Do that few times a day and you should be good.

just take a spoonful of honey, as natural as you can find, every now and again, also hot tea with lemon/honey,..
