I have quite a few of these babies for sale. They are about 1.25" and growing. Very cool and sought after plecos, one of my personal favorites. The white seams are so intense, look like they glow in the dark. The seams do get less intense as adults though, but still very cool.

FYI... these fish are F1 generation, meaning the parents are wild caught. They will have much stronger genes.

Am I correct with my thinking that they MUST be kept in black water conditions?

Not the F1 generation. At least, not mine! I have my grow out in regular tap water. I do use Indian Almond leaves in the tank, but that's pretty much it. Adult wild caught ones can be ok in regular water, but definitely thrive and breed in soft black water.
