Kuhli Loaches and aquarium salt?

With every 25-35% water change, in one gallon only I add about 5-7 grains of aquarium salt.

Is this bad for the loach since he doesn't really have scales?
I haven't found much info so I haven't tried it yet..

There is no reason to add salt (NaCl) to your tank unless you are treating for a disease. That small amount of salt isnt going to hurt your loach, however its really of no use adding it.

ohh..

I read that it helps keep them slimy and bacteria free-ish, for healthy scales.

But can't trust everything you read =]

Loaches do not like salt at all IMO.
