kuhli loach eating snails?

I have both kuhlis and clowns and they are both great. I'm not sure who is responsilbe for eating the snails but they are slackers.
I don't see small ones, but there are several big ones in the tank.

I don't know if Khuli Loaches eat snails, but Clown Loaches have quite a reputation for it. When my tank had a bit of a snail problem, I bought two Clown Loaches and they cleaned the place up within 48 hours.

Kuhli loaches will not eat snails. THey are the only loach I would ever put in with my apple snails. Most other loaches will eat them, clown loaches can be particularly devastating to snails.

My kuhlis eat snails. not as voraciously as the botia type loaches, but they make a good dent in the population. How big is your tank?

i put a clown loach (under 4") in my 55 gal, and in 3 days i couldnt see any snails. i did however leave in my 2 large apple snails, and for months they never bothered them. then i noticed one of the shells were empty. im not sure why this happended, since about 3 times a week i add about 50 little ramshorns for them to eat. my clowns def did the job, and havent been growing too fast either.

DOH .. so much for that. I have black kulhi loaches i purchased for that purpose incase snails ever show up. now i have a bunch of snails and they not doing anyhting. in fact they are not doing much at all. just sit there and flounder out when i put food in tank.

hmm i can't get rid of them just like that still sort of attached to the lazy things. any suggestions on a small solitairy fish to eat my snails?

i have 6 adult swordtails 5 baby swords 2 neons (probably infected with NTD, all of the others i bought had it) and 5 kulhis in a 20G Long. Anything you can suggest that would fit?
