i finally got my 75g up and cycling, and i have a ton of snail eggs in my 29g and was wondering if there was someway of transfering them over to my 75g without harming them?
are these eggs laid under the water? Just take a cup and scoop them out and transfer (match temp). If they are attached to a plant, take the plant with them too if you want.
just scrape the egg mass off with a fingernail. The whole blob will probably pop right off. Probly won't be able to re-stick it in the new tank, so let it float. If you are concerned the fish may eat 'em, let 'em hatch in a cup, then transfer to tank.
What kind of snails? If they're ramshorns or pond snails, don't worry. You'll have more than enough egg clutches and snails soon enough no matter what you do.
