I have a huge loquat tree in my yard and it produces a LOT of leaves. Loquat leaves are not commonly used in the aquarium hobby because loquat trees are fairly uncommon. However, they provide some surprising benefits to your aquarium!! If I sold some for dirt cheap maybe on eBay, would anyone be interested? Here are some of the benefits of loquat leaves ?
1. Shrimp love 'em! Loquat leaves are edible to shrimp
2. Loquat leaves can help lower PH
3. Loquat leaves dissolve slower than IAL meaning they last longer
4. look cool and different
5. Many different sizes! Some leaves are very small, perfect for nano tanks and other leaves are very big. It all comes down to preference.
And many more benefits!

I know an interesting assortment of people in the hobby. Over the years I have made many contacts. A friend who imports fish and sells online works with the tannin. When I began keeping altum angels Tannin was prscent on the angel site because a lot of botanicals figure in altums tanks as well as many other types of tanks. I buy my catappas and alder cones in bulk, I hate paying retail and I like not having to reorder things more often than I must.

I confess, when I decided to use rooibos tea, I ordered 20 kilos. They only sent 18. DOH! I will confess that I did sell some of this stuff at events and at my fish club. I only use about three tablespoons a week DOH!

For the most part imported botanicals are pretty neat but pricey. Most of them are best used in smaller tanks which keeps the costs down. Some species need these things to thrive and spawn.

You do not include your location so i do not know if this would appeal to you. Since Tannin Aquatics sells assorted botanicals and had for some time, it is a go to site. He has to acquire what he sells. Perhaps you would do better selling to him than trying to sell just one sort of leaf online to individual?

To all reading here. It really helps if members include at least their country location in the info others can see. I will never reply to disease problems when no location is provided because. I have no clue what medication might be available where the poster lives. I tend not to suggest products, sellers, shops, events etc. for the same reason.
