ID shark

I was at a lfs the other day and saw a 10" iridescent shark.
The thing was in a tank about 40g with a 10" arowana. The ID shark was so beat up and was black. Just interesting how black it turned from the stress.

hmn, is that why they turn black. i had seen a tank of them at this really nice store near me, and they were all black. But, they were alone, with nothing that would be harassing them.

I always thought they got blacker as they grew.....

I am pretty sure that all ID sharks turn black as they age and grow. Another thing that the LFS doesn't tell you.
