I have 2 adult tiger barbs and 3 babies. I have had the babies for about 2 months now and they have grown a tiny bit. Not enough to really notice:) From what I remember the adults grew fairly slowly.

Don't you like those little squirts? They're cute!!!!

The don't grow super-duper fast like, persay TinFoil Barbs, but I'd say within two months you'll see a substantial amount of growth. I think it'll take maybe 4 months or more for them to reach full size. How many do you have in a 100G? I'd imagine a full school would look spectacular! Tiger Barbs, once full length (around 2 inches) are really great! There are some enormous Tiger Barbs at my LFS that I envy!

Feeding three times a day though- Do your fish eat all the food before it sinks to the bottom or is there a lot of waste? If you keep that up, it may cause a lot of excess waste on the bottom of your tank. Be careful ;) But I'm sure you know what your doing!

hehe thanks sting :). i got 20 tiger barbs and they do look great all together as a school. dont worry about the feedings..they eat up every bit and i got a whole crap load of filtration for the tank
