What type of food will enhance the colors on my cardinal tetras? I've been using brine shrimp with flake food, will this help? Are there any other types of food you'd recomend for this?

I've heard cyclops' will inhance color quite a bit.

What are your water readings like? A nice Black background works for me!

Variety. Just give them a good varied diet flake, pellet, frozen, live, freeze dried etc and keep the water clean, there is no need for any other special foods.

2nd the dark background and dark substrate. Tannin stained water with the appropriate temp and hardness params can also go a long way. Side lighting is often much better for showing off iridescent fish than top down lighting as well.
